A couple of weeks ago I participated in an olive pruning workshop at Campodonico Olive Farm in Kelseyville. Our award-winning Tuscan Blend extra virgin olive oil is grown and produced here. Working retired :) couple, Rich and Lianne, have been 'wrestling' with their olive trees for 10 years now. Their deep dedication to the trees and hard work is being rewarded by producing exceptional extra virgin olive oil. This year their oil was awarded Best of California at the California State Fair Competition. It is robust, grassy, and tastes of the fruitful land.
